Height makes no difference as both are exactly the same in where and how they transfer between rates.

Just be aware depending on your car, they may NOT/EVER transfer to the higher rate due to your car not having enough static load vs travel the RR see's. It doesn't change rates til the spring is compressed 3.125" so you may never get there if your RR static load is low and your not traveling that far.

If the transfer spot/travel distance just happens to work out for you great, but unless rules dictate you having a single spring I'd rather just stack something and have the ability to adjust when the rate changes.

I see your point of no adjustability. I do have a 200/500 stack to try, that would allow for the same load at 2" plus give me adj. Thanks

The 200 - 425 is just that, a 200# rate for 3.125" then transfers to the 425# rate. They used to list the transition as taking .75" to fully get to the 425# rate, but don't now but assume it's still basically that way.

Your 200/500 Stack is going to be a 142# rate until you hit the stop nut. Just making sure you realize it's not a 200# rate at first with the stack.... A 350/500 would give you a 205# rate if you wanting closer to the 200#'s. If you want to use something closer to the actual 200 - 425 rates, then stack a 400 over a 425 to get a 206# initial rate

    Like a Penske dump valve?

The RR stack pretty popular? i can see where it would help the car firm up in the middle, i guess i will give it a try later this year as well.

    Just say no...

i might be out to lunch but just wanting to match my rf wheel rates with my rr rates., both on initial roll and after lockout. a 2 stage of 250/450 calculates pretty close with my 375/600 frt. of coarse wheel rates and shock angles are being considered. the 200-425 dual rate comes close for a single spring , but no adj.
