I noticed dirt on dirt making odds for the dream. With sports betting in most states coming soon are they laying odds for fun or will they be the exclusive place to bet DLM racing? I would love to be able to bet a race I attend or watch on television. How many on here would lay some cash on the wood for a DLM race?

Introducing industrialized gambling (meaning not cash between friends) would mean certain death for a sport already so corrupted with people out to make money any way they can.
And DoD would not be able to do this anyway. Gambling on US-based websites is completely illegal. And it is also illegal for overseas websites to accept sports bets from US citizens so moving it off shore doesn't fix the problem.

That’s not completely true. You can bet dogs and horses online as well as play fantasy sports which the companies are based in the United States. Sports betting will be legal in most states very soon and I guarantee someone will be smart enough to build odds and take bets for DLM racing. Dirt racing is so much more unpredictable than NASCAR and would be very profitable and draw more attention and sponsors to the sport. Minimum, I would love to see real money fantasy dirt racing. Not all aspects of gambling are negative. That’s my view

Not true at all. I did all my Kentucky Derby betting with the Keeneland betting app this year. It is 100% legitimate.

It is all starting to change in the name of the all mighty dollar. All our major sports are really working on it. Don’t think it’s done yet, but close. Could be wrong, but I know it’s coming.

I don’t wanna get into sports betting so I don’t. Don’t care who does, I just don’t wanna start down that road.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

I think they're doing it just for fun, but a casino would probably take those odds if you wanted to bet it.

The online betting/gambling rules are weird. I used play lot pokerstars but Louisiana banned online gambling but yet I can bet on MMA/Boxing if I want too. But real reason Louisiana did that was get people go to the casino.

Would it hurt the sport of dlm it could at same time could draw more people at same time. Could see people putting more money in a team make sure they would win, a lot of ifs, pros and cons to it.

Centeroff if they do dlm betting online and your wife boots your but out for betting the house, cars, kids. you can come stay at my place until you kiss her butt let you back lol.

I know a couple bets i would like to place thou, Micheal Paige at 50/1, and Jameson at 75/1, would put a C note on both. Owens at 8 to 1, take some of that action as well.

    Just say no...

I don't think Jameson has ever gone the distance in a 100 lap race.

It's not Eldora but he ran second to Bloomer in the 2017 Jackson 100.

Clanton and Richards at 20 to 1 for sure I would go for those two. Clanton has been really successful at Eldora and Richards will eventually have to break thru. Weiss at 50 to 1 would be an easy $100 bet to make. He's going to turn some heads this year.

Lanigan should be 500-1. Awful year for him.

Agree 100% with you CO, I think it would be fun and generate new interest. Ive been around sports gambling most of my adult life the only negative is when things dont go your way you always believe there is a big conspiracy involved to screw you lol. You start microsopically analyzing every moment of the game (race) why a person did this or that and it had to do with trying to affect the outcome of the line (odds) lol, which in football and basketball I think it might happen more that they say it does some pretty suspect stuff goes on sometimes (JR Smith)...but as far as DLM racing, I dont think the mob would get involved until DLR at least got a major tv contract with a corporation lol...so im all for it...

And the money line matchups like I made in a post last week those are fun too, just betting on if one driver finishes ahead of another driver...

Here I absolutely agree with you, one should be very careful with gambling sites in the United States. I had a detailed consultation with bovada customer service and these guys provided me with the same info.
