I was just looking at Bloomquist's totals for this year, and he's right at 1/4 million dollars so far this year, and it's just June.
112,475 - Lucas Oil
100,000 - Dream
10,000 - WoO win
3,000 - SN Win
+ a 2nd in a 10k to win SN, plus 2nd in a 20k to win Ultimate race, 3rd in a 5k prelim at Eldora, and his couple other WoO races (5th and 13th)
That puts him right at 250,000

Can he get to 500k???

There are several huge paying races left for him this year.

I was just talking about race winnings, I hadn't even thought about merchandise, but I'd say with his merchandise, he will probably be hovering around a million this year. Not bad at all!!!

I think if he drops off the tour due to his pain, he'll shut it down after Eldora. Try to give himself as much time as possible to heal up, assuming he has surgery. You're looking at right at 5 months between the World 100 and GA./FLA speed weeks.
If he waits much longer he risks losing 2 seasons for championship chasing.
