    This is Scott’s freaking personal car people. It’s not going to be Birky or Brady Smith or John Blankenship out of retirement. It’s going to be someone who doesn’t have to get up to speed with their driving, knows the Sweet-Bloomquist cars, and can win out of the box. McDowell and Bronson already have their own open programs going.

    Being it's only temporary, I'd put Dale McDowell in it. Familiar with chassis, a teammate, and nobody smarter or easier on equipment than Dale. Plus McDowell could leave his stuff sit, stay fresh till he's ready to come back. And look at the knowledge both would obtain from it.
    I would be shocked if it's not Dale or maybe Weiss.
