Anyone know the policy on coolers? Havent been in a couple years and plan on making the trip down Friday
-
Cooler only allowed to big enough to hold all the beer you and everyone around you can drink.
-
That sounds good lol. If any1 else is going feel free to stop by n have a beer or 7
-
Coolers gladly welcomed, any size. No Glass.
-
-
It will be a train race for the most part.
-
Thanks Trax, i wasnt sure about the glass. Honestly ill take a train race over nothing right now. Last few years i had been to 20-30 races at this point, and it rained 2 years ago when i went to this race. This will be my 1st of the year so anything is better than nothing

There will be some passing but i dont think much. We'll see tomarrow

The Clash races i saw there over the years weren't bad. Did enjoy some of the lower divisions a lil more tho
-
Yes if they have good night u will see good racing in other classes. Hope the weather holds out for you jlacey.

Thanks me too. Forcast looks better today when i checked it than it did earlier in the week. Supposed to go to Caraway Saturday night since theyre closing and weve never been. But if it happens to rain hopefully its Saturday instead lol

Best thing for caraway is dig up asphalt and make it a great dirt track.
They dont bring many mods. Last race there were 8. Yes 8
-
So just as bad with asphalt lms i guess. Was gonna go to my home track Tues night for a special show, had 7 supers with 1 being a crate. Caraway have any decent lower divisions?
-
Sorry i just realised you said mods and not LMs

I think they run a lot of lm and lms there They where only keeping mod shows for remainder of season. The weekly racing was stopped a few weeks ago. Track needs rezurfacing as water seeps up thru in spots last i knew. We raced there with WSMT. NO ambulance there unless its changed. Way out in bfe also. You will enjoy show but these issues are just a heads up.
-
I appreciate all the info. Thats def not good not having an ambulance on site. With all the injuries and deaths there has been over the last few years ypud think that would be a top priority
-
Bowman gray is closed this wknd so there might b a good croud of fans there. Enjoy the show!
-
Yes, Caraway would make an excellent dirt track!

I went earlier this year and there was plenty of passing, but it was dusty, very dusty.
