Barren Co Speedway in KY ..I only saw one race in person there about 1998 (maybe?)

By 1998 the track had really went down hill bad as the different owners kept letting it go flatter, quit working and watering the track near enough, and even messing it up one time by pouring a bunch of used oil or something similar on it. They even wound up cutting the high banks down and putting a guardrail around it, that just totally ruined the place. The owner that sold part of the property which allowed it to be turned into a tire recycling and then later a scrap yard is the one that killed the track. Originally Posted by kd1

#635 Langhorne PA. One mile track, closed in 1971.
