And the checkbook to match that big stick.
Check the rules between the 2 and you will see the differences pretty easily.

like the others have said. a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ under the hood, as well as softer tires and completely different tread pattern. most of the rest of the cars are similar. and UMP has virtually no tech. just bodies is about all they are worried about
I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.

IMCA just as bad $25,000 cars plus the motor $6,000 for the crate plus the add ons and then getting it cheated up. New junk Hoosier tires every 2 nights. Take ur choose.. Both expensive .

To build the car as a roller UMP and IMCA are just about identical. I run a 18 Deg 415 that I bought used 3 years ago for 10,500. So dont believe the rumors that you have to have a 30K engine to compete, You dont. We are currently ranked #2 in UMP. I say that so you understand where Im coming from. UMPs tires are better and we have schrader valve shocks. Both have quick changes, Bert/Brinn trans, the chassis cost the same to build, the sheetmetal costs the same, the seat, gauges, etc, etc Yes there are alot of little rule differences but to simplify it, its the engine.
