Someone explain how this passing points thing works do you get so many points each person you pass or are their more to it HELP

Points for final finishing position (59, 57, 55, 53, 51, 49, 47, 45, 43, 41 1st-10th) , then points for each position gained from original official start position, most often 1.5 points. If you start first and finish first it'd be 59 points, but if you start 10th and finish 2nd it'd be in the high 60's. Don't know the exact numbers they use but its the same system.

Save yourself a headache and a calculator.

Just go by average finish. Unless a driver is in heat with multiple scratches. The average finish approach is flawless.
