CARTERSVILLE, GA – Week 19 of the 27-week 2018 Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series season will feature 16 Races in seven states that include Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Kansas, and Nebraska. All four Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Divisions are scheduled to see action.

There are three races scheduled for tonight, a dozen on the slate for Saturday night and one will be held on Sunday night. Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS will host the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division tonight along with the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division.

Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS will be in action tonight with the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division and the Street Stocks. Kansas State Fairgrounds Speedway in Hutchinson, KS will present the Late Models tonight in an event co-sanctioned with NCRA. Tonight’s Late Model race scheduled for Oglethorpe Speedway Park in Savannah, GA has been rained out.

Camden Speedway in Camden, TN, North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL and Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL will each host all four Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Divisions on Saturday night with the Late Models, Street Stocks, Late Model Sportsmen, and the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Modified Sportsman Division.

North Alabama Speedway will also present Double Features for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division. The first feature race will be a Week 3 Make-Up Race, and the second feature will be the regularly scheduled Week 19 race.

ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia, AL, and Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS will each present competition for the Late Models, Street Stocks, and Late Model Sportsman on Saturday night. Duck River Raceway Park in Lewisburg, TN will host the Late Models and Street Stocks on Saturday night.

The Late Model Division will be in action on Saturday night at Chatham Speedway in Chatham, LA, and Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, NE. Junction Motor Speedway will host Double Features for the Late Models with the first feature being a Week 18 Make-Up Race, and the second feature being the regularly scheduled Week 19 race.

The Kansas State Fair Speedway will host the Late Models co-sanctioned with NCRA for night two of the Hutchinson Nationals on Saturday night. This Saturday night, the Street Stock Division will be at Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, GA, Flomaton Speedway in Flomaton, AL for $1,000-to-win, and Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, GA.

The lone Sunday night Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Week 19 event will be at Moulton Speedway in Danville, AL for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division, the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division, and the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division.

Sid Scarbrough of Florence, MS leads the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division standings with a best 14-week total of 694 points. Scarbrough will be trying to net on a 49, which means he will have to win a 50-point race with eight or more cars in order to improve his season point total in the National standings.

Steve Russell of Pontotoc, MS is second in the standings with a best 14-week total of 678 points, and he will be trying to net on a 43. Shannon Lee of Lumberton, MS is third with a best 14-week total of 675, and he will be trying to net on a 46.

The 2012 Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Late Model National Champion Chase Washington of Houlka, MS is fourth with a best 14-week total of 672 points, and he will be trying to net on a 46. Tootie Arnold of Meadeville, MS is fifth with a best 14-week total of 667 points, and he will be trying to net on a 41.

Ricky Idom of Hattiesburg, MS is the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division point leader with a best 14-week total of 698 points. Idom will be trying to net on a 48. A 50-point win would give him a perfect seasonal point total of 700 points. Lee Ray of Columbus, MS is second with a best 14-week total of 689 points, and he will also be trying to net on a 48.

Bryan Fortner of Millport, AL is third in the Street Stock National standings with a best 14-week total of 668 points, and he will be trying to net on a 44. Michael Blount of Sumrall, MS is fourth with a best 14-week total of 665 points, and he will be trying to net on a 43. Chad Winkles of Hartselle, AL is fifth with a best 14-week total of 663 points, and he will be trying to net on a 40.

Bryson Mitchell of Russellville, AL and Hayden Duncan of Leighton, AL are battling for the lead in the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division standings. Mitchell has a best 14-week total of 682 points and Duncan has a best 14-week total of 676 points. Mitchell will be trying to net on a 47, while Duncan will be trying to net on a 40.

Blake Ray of Russellville, AL is third in the Late Model Sportsman standings with a best 14-week total of 672 points, and he will be trying to net on a 45. Cole Brown of Cullman, AL is fourth with a best 14-week total of 657 points, and he will be trying to net on a 41. Brandon Crosby of Anniston, AL is fifth with a best 14-week total of 650 points, and he also will be trying to net on a 41.

Andy Davis of Odenville, AL is the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Modified Sportsman Division point leader with a best 14-week total of 568 points, just one point in front of Justin Angle of Anniston, AL, who has a best 14-week total of 567 points. Davis will be trying to net on a 38, and Angle will be trying to net on a 37.

Oakley Gillespie of Five Points, TN is third in the Modified Sportsman standings with 529 points, and one more week to earn full points before he hits the 14-week mark of his season. Chris Yarbrough of Eastaboga, AL is fourth with 521 points after 13 weeks of racing. Ron Bailey of Meridianville, AL is fifth with 435 points after 12 weeks of racing.
