I sat in front straight when i was there, its dusty in every seat. As far as places to stay, its in the middle of nowhere and you can leave your cell phone at home. The racing is good there, very strange venue with an abandoned insane asylum/old folks home on the grounds.
Not a bad seat in the house view wise. I wouldn’t sit in the small bleachers going into turn 1 because you will get mangled by mud when the track is wet and dusted out all night. I would look for a room in Parkersburg WV and you shouldn’t have a problem finding one.
I sit in turn 1 all season long. Mud clods will get you during hot laps, but it’s fine after that. You can see them coming down the straight away at a pretty cool angle from where I sit.
