I understand why they do it, so the fair gets a bump, but for those of us that couldn't give one hoot about a fair, we now are home by 9pm. Stands were pretty empty early, but filled out nicely by the end of the night. If a vote was taken, I would be on the side of canning the early start.

Morris and the leader [Flessner] got tangled up in the feature, with Flessner spinning and stopping on the track. Morris took the blame on his own, and went to the rear, instead of letting them put Flessner to the rear.

Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

For a guy that has a fast car but drives over his head a lot that good to hear. Jay’s a nice guy but drives over his head way more than most. Props to him for doing that.

Didn't look that bad to me. Jay was the bigger man. He wanted to get back racing, not sit on the track and cry. Was Curl driving over his head too?

That is MUCH better than the alternative. Most programs run way too long.

I don't go to Fairbury when the fair is going on for the reasons you wrote plus having to pay for the fair admission.

So the particulars that some people weren’t pleased about were known in advance, but they attended and chose to gripe about it anyway. What a country.

Three hours should be the target for a weekly show...after that you start to see the stands empty. Hard to keep the little ones occupied if you brought your family... and the kids should be a priority after all they are the future of racing.
