World 100 had nothing to do with cancelling this race but its a great excuse nobody has luck at ponderosa think they ran twice all year just who would have been at the pond that will be at eldora lets see chilton, marlar, jameson, thats really it maybe 30 fans the tracks are 200 miles apart and the pond wouldve gained alot more local area lower budget teams

Somebody needs to save this fine place before it closes...........Easier said than done for this area though. LM costs being returned to sanity might be the only way no matter who runs the place.

Its friday nights that kill this place not enough local racing teams in the area and teams that work regular jobs cant get there in time to race on friday say like the eastern ky drivers or southern indiana drivers its good 3 to 4 hour drive seems richmond and lake cumberland do good with cars counts both sat tracks all 3 tracks need work together and actually put up big money shows 3000 and 5000 only draw a couple of extra cars put up twice that unsanction and you will get the cars

I was told that the owner of the facility leased it to a touring LM series and they were going to promote all the events this year. The first thing that they did was cancel the BOSS sprint car series season ending doubleheader telling them that they didn't need any competition from other series. I personally have never been there but was looking into the possibility of attending if the BOSS series raced there.

They might as well to have cancelled after their deal with the Lucas race being called on lap 30 due to rain but then finishing all other classes Sure they knew there was no way they would come out if they did have it. Ponderosa is a good track but is in dire need of a Promoter.Once you bite the hand that feeds you its not too likely to feed you again
