Very cool. I guess there will not be a bunch of rumors about them going out of business or selling Volusia this winter.

Didn't see in the article if there were adding any more seats. Looks like more leg room and backs which is great.

I think they are larger to make it a more comfortable experience. I like how if your paying for reserved seats or a little extra money just in general you get something out of it with built in seat backs.

I believe they are moving some of the existing bleachers to the pits. I saw an article a week or two ago on some racing site about that.

New section of stands in front-stretch will seat 2800. The old section of aluminum stands will be relocated to the back-stretch. I believe the old wooden stands coming out of turn 4 will still stay there and still be unreserved. Originally Posted by Clayton_Wetter
