This Friday October 19th we have a really unique show at Jacksonville Speedway Headlining our last night of racing are POWRi Midgets which were originally scheduled to race last Friday during our rained-out World of Outlaw event. Joining the Midgets in regular racing action are POWRi Micros and Modifieds. As a special bonus we are having Highbank Heroes presented by Taylor Brothers Towing for some of our outstanding retired area racers. Our local Pro Late Model teams have generously allowed some of our area legends to drive their cars for this special event. The Highbank Heroes event will be a 12 lap real racing event. Although the exact lineup has been a little fluid as we've put this together and paired cars and drivers, as of this morning the following were planning to race (in no particular order)... It's our last Race Day of the year with a really neat show on tap presented by WHELEN. Powri Midgets and Micros, Modifieds, and Taylor Brothers Towing Highbank Heroes. WHELEN will have giveaways to our early fans and the track is offering a special gift of "All You Can Grab Painters Tape" to our early birds. Well... we couldn't bring ourselves to remove the reserved Outlaw seat tape for the third time.. so it's still there - but go ahead and sit on it or take it up if you wish. Grandstands open at 5:00, Hot Laps 6:00. Racing at 7:00. First Responders only $10 thanks to WHELEN. Regular Adult admission $18, Ages 11-18 $5, Kids 10 and under Free.

Great show, Kenny. The midget A-main was as good as they get. Track prep, push truck organization and general efficiency of the show (on our way home at 9:30 PM) was once again exemplary. But we've learned to anticipate that at Jacksonville and have not been disappointed yet.

Thanks for a GREAT season of racing, Kenny. Thanks for picking up the pieces that resulted from the Fairbury fiasco created earlier this month. As usual you came through with flying colors.

You have my vote for promoter of the year!! Very much looking forward to attending races at Jacksonville in 2019. Thanks for overseeing some of the best racing in Illinois, you do a stellar job and you're a stand up guy.
