Rr spring mount on chassis
Does it matter how high the weight jack mount is on the chassis on the rr?

What matters is the height of the upper spring perch.
-
So do you want the rr spring perch high or low in the chassis?

Depends on if you're running under IMCA type rules that say rear springs are to be on top of the rear end. If not we like them low.

Anything besides getting ride height set correctly? Some software designers have said for years it affects weight transfer.

Indeed it does.

I run my rr on top, so if I went from say a 13 to an 11 inch spring it would transfer more or is it where the jack bolt is mounted on the frame that matters

lr high rr low
wt jack bolt doesnt matter as has already been said, the top spring cup height will matter and make a noticeable difference
