Lanigan running WOO in 2019
Just saw post on twitter feed. Driving his own C29
-
Cant help but to think he will bounce back like EPJ did this year. Hes too good not to...
-
Figured he would. I think WoO needs him. That's two solid drivers they are gaining with him and Overton.
-
Good core with Sheppy, Madden, Lanigan, and don’t think Overton is confirmed with WoO. They’ll decide after speedweeks.
-
Hopefully maybe Clanton will do something in 2019. I don't know how well he would do the entire tour but I said the other day I have a hunch Weiss might run WoO also. Have to wait and see...
-
Where is this info on twitter
-
The tweet about running woo was deleted. But he is most definitly going to be running his own car
-
MI Dirt Fan I talked to Shawn from Weiss's team. He said unless they found another crew guy. They were probably gonna do the same as this year.

I think running his own deal will improve his performance... sometimes being a team player has it's drawbacks.

Is it me, or does it seem like since 2014, or whenever the aero,a** up face down trend started is when Clanton and Lanigans performance dropped off, I know these two can still get it done...
-
Hopes to run WoO. The big surprise to me was bringing the chassis building in house and away from Stuckey.

They seemed to have fallen behind in the post-Rumley device world. A lot has changed since then.

The new car Clanton brought out towards the end of the season seemed to be pretty fast. Bringing Madden on board should help Capital's cause, too.

Where was Clanton fast at with this new car people are talking about? I don't know when it came out but since Knoxville. 3 of his 4 wins came at Senoia.

Jon Henry set quick time at Eldora too. Wth does that prove?
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Writeup on DoD says that the plan is to return to the WoO as long as he has enough equipment ready to hit the road comfortably. Hitting the road comfortably might be a stretch because he's building his own chassis now.

He had a very good car at Eldora for most of the weekend. Started up front at Charlotte, but must have missed the setup for the feature. Results don't always tell the story. He had a much better piece later in the year. I actually mentioned that in the Madden to Capital thread.

I still stand by the results.
