CARTERSVILLE, GA – Durrence Layne Racing officials have announced the dates for the 2019 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Winter Shootout. The schedule shows seven races at four tracks in four different states.

The first race of the 2019 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Winter Shootout will be at the 28th Annual Ice Bowl at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL on January 3-6, 2019 paying $3,000-to-win. There will be practice on Thursday, January 3 and Friday, January 4, 2019.

Qualifying and Heat Races will take place at Talladega Short Track on Saturday, January 5, 2019 with B-Main Races and the $3,000-to-win main event to be contested on Sunday, January 6, 2019. Three-time Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Champion Ronnie Johnson of Chattanooga, TN is the defending Ice Bowl Champion.

The second stop of the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Winter Shootout will be at Duck River Raceway Park in Lewisburg, TN with the $3,000-to-win Winterfest on February 15-16, 2019. There will be an Open Practice on Friday, February 15, and the racing action happens on Saturday, February 16, 2019 with the $3,000-to-win show at Duck River Raceway Park.

Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, FL will host the 15th Annual Chevrolet Performance World Championship Race Week for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Winter Shootout on February 27-March 2, 2019.

The third stop of the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Winter Shootout will be highlighted by the Granddaddy of all Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series races, the $10,000-to-win 15th Annual Chevrolet Performance World Championship Race on Saturday, March 2, 2019.

The action at Bubba Raceway Park begins with an Open Practice Night on Wednesday, February 27. Then a pair of $2,000-to-win races for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series will take place on Thursday night, February 28, 2019, and again on Friday night, March 1, 2019.

The run for the globe, the $10,000-to-win 15th Annual Chevrolet Performance World Championship Race will take place on Saturday night, March 2, 2019. Sunshine State favorite Kyle Bronson of Brandon, FL will be looking for his third straight Chevrolet Performance World Championship Race win.

The Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division will also be in action at Bubba Raceway Park as a part of the Durrence Layne Sunshine State Shootout that will put the Durrence Layne Street Stocks vs. the Dirts 4 Racing Street Stocks.

The Street Stocks will practice on February 27 and 28. On March 1, the Street Stocks will Qualify and then run $400-to-win, $30-to-start Heat Races. On March 2, the Street Stocks will run a Dash, B-Main Races, and a $2,000-to-win main event.

The final two races of the 2019 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series will roll off at Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, GA on March 8-9, 2019. There will be a $2,000-to-win race on Friday night, March 8, 2019, and the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Winter Shootout finale will be a $4,000-to-win race on Saturday night, March 9, 2019.

Jimmy Thomas of Phenix City, AL and Wil Herrington of Cochran, GA are the defending Cochran Motor Speedway Winter Shootout race winners, and Jimmy Elliott of Cleveland, TN is the defending Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Winter Shootout Champion.
