Rattlesnake is a pretty cool high banked big 1/4 with one of the best surfaces in Nevada,a state not known for clay. It's located next to the local cemetery and, on occasion, races have taken a break during, uh, ceremonies. Mostly volunteer run and a good bunch of racers.
It's sometimes windy and dusty (it is the desert) but we look forward to running there 1 or 2 times each season. The dogs always know where we've been when we get home as a generous portion of horse/cow manure is often worked into the track and our wheels are packed with the stuff.
