    Does anyone know why the big block modifieds are 1.8 seconds slower than the late models supposed to have 850 horse they weigh 250 lbs more is the weight that big of a deal?

    I just thought theyd be alot faster than they were was kinda surprised

    The big blocks won't take the turns as well as the LM's.

    Yes they have. They look a lot better so far. I expect they will continue to be a bigger factor than the last couple years. How much of a factor??? I never understood how CBR was so far behind most weeks.

    They’re 250 lbs heavier and the aerodynamics are much different in a big block. They create an insane amount of downforce behind the driver that almost borders on drag, but almost none at the nose.
