Only if the chassis business continues to do well will this be a good decision, I would think. And that is questionable.

Glad he can stay involved with the sport. I hope he gets to drive some too.

Rocket employees probably have 401k and pay into SS.

Sounds like a good deal as long as racing doesn't drop off.

Good for him. I always liked watching him race when he came to Florence Speedway to race. When he won the North/South 100, that was the loudest cheers for a winner that I've heard at the North/Souths that I've been too.

Eddie and Overton are my two favorite to listen to in post race interviews. You can tell they both put all they’ve got into it

Could this be a match for Tye Twarog for a few races in 2019?

That’s who I thought of when he said he wanted to put somebody in a car for races devin couldn’t but if I remember correctly Eddie wasn’t a big fan of the xr1

LOL. Dlmfan. If he's not a big fan of XR-1's do you really think richards would bring him on board ?

ECJ wasn't in his own equipment the last couple years when he wheeled a Longhorn for Jake Keaton.

Carrier didn't like the XR1 he drove for Grover. That is a fact.

Maybe one that will still exist down the road...

Why does everyone think this is so great?

I don't know if it is or not. You make it sound like he left a $100k/yr job to be a street musician.

As long as Mark and Steve don’t say screw it one day and leave Eddie high and dry, it’s probably a good opportunity. Keeps his foot in the door in the racing community, is around the top selling chassis manufacturer, and can gain some knowledge about the XR1. Which I to would agree Eddie did not like.

But certainly not an opportunity you’d wanna turn down. Maybe one day he’ll get a chance in one of Mark’s cars. No I’m not saying replacing that overrated BShepp.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.
