CARTERSVILLE, GA – This weekend will be the final tune-up at Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series tracks before the 2019 point season begins on March 25, and runs through September 29. Drivers will be competing against not only drivers at their home track for track points, but drivers throughout the country for National points during the 27-week season.

The top ten drivers in National points in each of the four Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Divisions will earn a seat at the banquet table and a points fund check at the Durrence Layne Racing Annual Awards Banquet at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame and Thunder Road Museum in Dawsonville, GA.

This weekend, 13 Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series tracks will host either/or a Practice Session, or a racing event for one or more of the four Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Divisions that include the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division, the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division, the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division, and the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Modified Sportsman Division.

Oglethorpe Speedway Park in Savannah, GA will open the pre-season action with an Open Practice Session tonight for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division. Camden Speedway in Camden, TN will host an Open Practice Session for all four Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Divisions on Friday night, then return on Saturday night for racing action with all four Divisions.

Duck River Raceway Park in Lewisburg, TN will highlight Friday night racing action with a $1,000-to-win Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division race, and a $1,000-to-win Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division race. Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS will have Friday night racing action for the Late Models and the Street Stocks.

North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL will have a Practice Session on Friday night for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division, the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division, and the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Modified Sportsman Division. Those three Divisions will return to North Alabama Speedway on Saturday night for racing action.

Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS will highlight Saturday night action with a $1,500-to-win Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division race, a $1,200-to-win Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division race, and an $800-to-win Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division race.

Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, GA will host the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division on Saturday night. Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS will have a Practice Session on Saturday night for the Late Models and the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division.

Southern Raceway in Milton, FL will have racing on Saturday night for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division and the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division. Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL will be in action on Saturday night with the Late Models, Late Model Sportsmen, and the Modified Sportsmen.

Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, TN will be in action this Saturday night with the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division, the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division, and the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Modified Sportsman Division. Thunder Valley Speedway in Glenmora, LA will host the Street Stocks this Saturday night.
