ADAIRSVILLE, GA – Week 4 of the 2019 Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series season will see 16 tracks looking to beat Mother Nature after two previous soggy weekends. One track, North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL decided that if they can’t race on Saturday, they’ll just give Tuesday night a try, and they got in their Week 3 Make-Up Race.

NAS winners were Chase Walls of Decherd, TN in the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division, Jason Hollis in the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division, Cruz Wallace in the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division, and the defending Durrence Layne Chevrolet Modified Sportsman National Champion Oakley Gillespie of Five Points, TN took his first win of the season.

This weekend, there will be five Friday night races and 11 Saturday night races on the Week 4 Schedule of Events. There will be 11 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division races, 12 Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division races, eight Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division races, and five Durrence Layne Chevrolet Modified Sportsman races.

Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS will host the Street Stocks with a $1,000-to-win race on Friday night, and the Late Model Sportsman will also be in action. Hattiesburg Speedway will settle back into Friday night racing with the Late Models and the Street Stocks. Moulton Speedway will feature all four Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series Divisions on Friday night.

Salina Speedway in Salina, KS will open the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division competition for Great Plains drivers. Then they will be in action at 81 Speedway in Wichita, KS on Saturday night in an event co-sanctioned with NCRA.

Thunder Valley Speedway in Glenmora, LA has a two-day race scheduled for the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division. They will run Heat Races on Friday night, and then return on Saturday night for the main event.

Camden Speedway in Camden, TN will be in action on Saturday night with Late Models, Street Stocks, Late Model Sportsmen, and Modified Sportsmen. Duck River Raceway Park in Lewisburg, TN is scheduled to run the Late Models and the Street Stocks on Saturday night, and ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia, AL is scheduled to present the Street Stocks and the Late Model Sportsmen.

Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS is looking to get in their 2019 season opener on Saturday night with the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division and the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division. North Alabama Speedway is back in action this Saturday night with the Late Models, Late Model Sportsmen, and the Modified Sportsmen.

Southern Raceway in Milton, FL will host the Street Stocks and the Late Model Sportsmen, and Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL has the Late Models, Late Model Sportsmen, and the Modified Sportsmen on Saturday night.

Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, TN will be looking to get their first Weekly Racing Series race in on Saturday night with the Late Models, Street Stocks, and the Modified Sportsmen. Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS is scheduled to present the Late Models, Street Stocks, and Late Model Sportsmen this Saturday night in Week 4 Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series action.

Lonnie Brant of Bloomingdale, GA leads the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division National point standings, and 14-year-old Dylan Hamilton of Cantonment, FL is on top of the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division National point standings.

Morgan Lambert and Tony Chaney share the National point lead in the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division. Rex Berry of Huntingdon, TN is the National point leader in the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Modified Sportsman Division.
