    Just caught on Facebook that Jim Carmichael..AKA Bubba Smith on here has passed away. His witty posts were one of a kind.

    R.I.P. Jim Carmichael (A.K.A. Bubba Smith)
    I remember him. he was in open wheel fan. loved to make fun of the late model fans. called the fender cars taxi cabs. Jim gave me plenty of laughs on here.

    That sucks. Bubba (and Bubbette) were the source of many laughs on here. I remember DJ giving him a shout out during one of the East Bay Winter Nationals radio broadcasts.

    He got sick about the same time as i did, though i go way be for him. Rest in peace man, I will miss you my Friend. Man was one funny Guy.

    It's hard to have a sense of humor, when you know your going down. Here , is a toast of Mayllocks . RIP Bubba. I can see where it's going to be hard to post, as drugged up as they keep you. Cardirt0 , I look forward to winning those races, sense my legs stopped working.

    You have to learn to LOL cause Crying gets you no were. The hard part is i ant been to a race in 4 years. The good Part is i have learned to live with it.

    Then we get a rain out, tonight. I got to one last year. A friend and my daughter smuggled me out of hospice, with a pick up truck full of oxygen and Morphine. It was a good time.
