10,000 to win for 100 laps are you kidding !
Is this the start of low paying 100 lap races !
I could see 50 or 60, but a 100 laps is a little much for 10,000 at the cost to operate these cars!
-
At least it’s not a two day show.
-
Build it to last 100 laps and won't cost so much. Honestly thought great deal for local/regional guys. Good pay and chance to learn how to race long race. Especially since there's a few in that area every year
-
Wouldn't your conclusion have to factor in the size of the track?

Like Huskerdirt said at least it's not a 2-day show. Back in the 1980's & 1990's this was common place at a lot of tracks. Racing back then was also a bit cheaper then it is today.

I loved running 100 lap races. This race was meant for local and regional guys who dont get to run 100 lap races.
-
Probably be the best race of the year,
-
Wasn't that long ago a lot of $10k races were 100 lappers. I wish there were more 100 lap races today. Usually much better racing.

What's the difference in 40 laps on a half mile track for 5g an 100 laps on a 3/8 or 1/4 mile for 10g
-
No one is forced to compete...
If 10K isn't enough you could always add $$$ to the purse.

37.5 miles under green on the Atomic track is all it is. Really, why not.

Give it up already

matdaddy you always come on here whining and crying about Tom Petty but you never have the guts to answer anyone when they ask why you've perpetually got your panties in a wad.

That dang toilet paper's at it again...

I remember some 100-lappers that paid $3,000 to win. Are we really complaining now about having to drive 38 miles for $10,000?

He has answered, took me pushing dem buttons, but I finally water boarded him enough, to get the answer.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Nothing wrong with $10k and a 100 laps. Brad scheduled this race to be against the Lucas race and all the other regional races for mostly guys around here.
Chance to run for better money, and not have the big guys. He has tried big sanctioned races, and didn’t do well. So why not try a modest unsanctioned race, if it does well, keep doing it, and maybe eventually make it bigger. Personally unsanctioned as it is, and how he has it. No entry fee, and a basic tire rule.
Used to have the KC 100, so also reviving that. He’s a good promoter. Good luck today to anyone going. Easy on the gas in the parking areas, they are going to be wet if he gets it in.
