Default Prayers for Joe and Katie Garrison

Katie (Joe’s wife) posted on Facebook yesterday that Joe was placed into hospice care, while she is battling brain cancer at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.

Say a prayer for both today.

    Default Garrisons?

So she has freakin brain cancer, what does Joe have? Cancer is just awful, and until it hits you close to home, you don’t realize how bad it can be how quick.

They sure did a lot for racing for sure.

I read online that Joe passed away not too long ago. Thoughts and prayers to his family, and especially his wife and her own health issues.

    Yes, DoD reported he passed.

I had no idea they have a 4 year old daughter, that is just heartbreaking. One parent has passed, other is in bad shape. Hopefully Mrs Garrison pulls through for their little girl.

I have family that lives across the street from Joe's daughter. The daughter might be 30 at most, and has two small children of her own. Just a sad deal.

All our families have been impacted by cancer, and most of us multiple times. What the Garrisons are going through is devastating. It’s heartwarming however to see the outpouring of love for them all over Facebook, and social media in general.

This is a daughter from a previous marriage that lives by my cousin.

It bothers me about the 4 year old daughter, and her mother being sick also.

Thoughts and prayers for the Garrison family. RIP Joe.
