Default Always on the Rev Limiter way to early?

Always on the Rev Limiter way to early?

Do you have a race car that hits the Rev Limiter by the time your half way down the straight? Then you have a Rev limiter that is hitting between 150 -250 rpm early. This issue can be solved by having the MSD 8728 Rev Limiter Blueprinted to the 1% Rule. This adjustment eliminates the low condition and puts the Rev Limiter box hitting the chip 20 to 30 rpm above whatever chip is being used. The testing performed for the past two years has shown for every 100 rpm gained back from the adjustment. Will result in the racecar one car length further down the straight before hitting the chip. If your competition has been walking past you last season then you might want to consider getting your Rev Limiter looked at. The cost for your box runs $150, a new box can be ordered for $280.00. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Thank you for looking at this post.

Couldn't I just set the rev limiter 200 rpm higher?
