Kent Robinson Finds Victory Lane in FALS Cup Opener
Farmer City Raceway and Fairbury Speedway MARS Double Shot on Tap

Bloomington, Indiana (05/06/19) – Kent Robinson wired the field at Fairbury Speedway on Saturday night to snare the $2,500 top prize in the inaugural FALS Cup event. The victory came aboard his JB’s Disposal Services #7r MB Customs/ Jay (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)ens Racing Engine Super Late Model.

“Man I love Fairbury, and we had pretty much a perfect night there on Saturday,” Robinson commented. “When you go into that place and beat those guys, you’ve done something. I can’t wait to go back there this weekend.

“We’ve got a great car, and I think we are about to have a pretty badass year.”

After losing his original plans to Mother Nature, Kent Robinson visited Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Illinois) on Friday for the regular night of racing. After laying down the fourth-fastest time in qualifications, Robinson scored a heat race win, which positioned him second on the starting grid for the A-Main.

Battling at the front of the pack throughout the finale, Kent notched a runner-up finish behind Brian Shirley with Kyle Bronson, Jason Feger, and Ryan Unzicker rounding out the Top-5.

On Saturday at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois), for the opening night of the FALS Cup, Robinson started the night with a heat race victory, which positioned him on the pole for the A-Main. Holding off a hard-charging Kyle Bronson, Robinson streaked to his first win of the season in the feature. Bronson, Ryan Unzicker, David Mielke, and Scott Schmitt completed the Top-5 finishers.

Robinson claimed a $2,500 payday for his efforts.
