I remember being at Florence, I think the first time I went. Probably 00’, maybe 01’. They had that $30k race, wanna say the Commonwealth is what they called it, not sure. They had a wreck, flipped on front straightaway, upside down, and multiple people out there who had no need to be out there. If you don’t have safety gear on and you can see or smell fluids, stay back.

In an instant you can be seriously hurt. And then comes the lawsuits.

i only saw him jump one , the first start , but i didnt watch part 2 , any way that was a real fart smeller that ran across that track.........

John Mason was qualifying at Pennsboro once and locked em up wide open on the front stretch because he swore someone ran across the track. It was before my time but maybe some else can elaborate....

I found a FB video from the stands in turn one. At first you can see running dude,but then they zoom in before the accident and track running.

Hell ya that's what I call pushing your LUCK.... Whom ever was that rolled that Man was obviously with that DRIVER. Cudos on your BRAVERY and instinct of compassion for ones well being in that situation! Heck two people I use crew for, sons dad flipped and he jumped the fence to get to him!!!! Never tell a person No when they are on a mission like that!!!! Heck with ATHORITY...
