Default 2 Inch Offset Wheels on Left Side

What is the advantage to running 2" offset wheels on the left side of an IMCA stock car vs running 3" on the left side I see most cars are running the 2" and just wondered the reasoning thanks.

you gain more side bite on the rs tires

more leverage on the lr for driving forward also, like using a pry bar the longer it is....

Ok thanks for the help just wanted to understand this better also learned with the lr being further out that tire is pushing ahead further left of the centerline of the chassis to tighten on throttle.
