    WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF A CHAIN ON THE RIGHT REAR? i HAVE SEEN SEVERAL CARS [SUPER LATE MODELS] WITH THIS AND HAVE GOTTEN SOME REALLY STUPID ANSWERS [EX. IT HELPS WHEN JACKING THE CAR UP]. AND .. HOW IS THE CORRECT DROP DETERMINED? THANKS IN ADVANCE.

    Actually, the chain does help a lot when making bar angle changes on the RR. It keeps the rear axle from dropping and spinning the birdcage on you.

    From a performance standpoint, the RR can try to raise on the bars like the LR does. Limiting this RR hike can make the car more consistent and limiting it a lot can tighten the car when accelerating off the corner. How much really depends on your car and setup. Stopping the Rr from gaining more than 1.5" of ride height would be a safe first step. Then you can shorten it a 1/4 inch at a time and see what works for you.
