ADAIRSVILLE, GA – Week 12 of the Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series was a busy one for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division. With as wet a season as 2019 has been, we couldn’t leave out Mother Nature. She did rain out one Week 12 event, and that was the lone Sunday night event, a race co-sanctioned with the NCRA, at 81 Speedway in Wichita, KS.

Drivers racing in Durrence Layne Weekly Racing events compete for both a Track point fund and a National point fund. Drivers compete against drivers racing at Durrence Layne Racing sanctioned tracks across the country using a National points system over a 27-week season that concludes on September 29.

A driver’s best 14 weekly point totals count as their season total. The top ten drivers in the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division National points at the end of the season will earn a seat at the Durrence Layne Racing Annual Awards Banquet to receive a point fund check and a trophy. The National Champion will pick up a check for $10,000.
