Is the Sportsman class more about the drivers or the cars?

And, Bloomquist has struggled mightily since his return.

I seen him at Fayetteville and I honestly feel he has come back way to soon. The man could barely walk. His crew looked like rookies. He had to tell them about everything to do. He may only be back because of sponsor obligations idk but the man definitely doesn’t need to be back yet. Watching him getting in and out of the car you could really tell he was hurting.

The sportsman division has had a bunch of interpretations. Theirs seems to be twin tube shocks, lower buck motors, etc.

I raced our sportsman cars for years... more like the stock frame streeters of today...but I ran against the late models a couple times.
