ADAIRSVILLE, GA – The Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division heads into the second half of the 27-week 2019 Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series season with seven races in Week 14 competition. Weather has held drivers back from reaching the 14-week mark, and the drivers at the top of the point standings still have a few more weeks to earn full points.

Drivers racing in Durrence Layne Weekly Racing events compete for both a Track point fund and a National point fund. Drivers compete against drivers racing at Durrence Layne Racing sanctioned tracks across the country using a National points system over a 27-week season that concludes on September 29.

A driver’s best 14 weekly point totals count as their season total. The top ten drivers in the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division National point standings will earn a seat at the Durrence Layne Racing Annual Awards Banquet to receive a point fund check and a trophy.

Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS will open Week 14 competition with the lone Friday night race. Saturday night events will be held at Camden Speedway in Camden, TN, Duck River Raceway Park in Lewisburg, TN, Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS, Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS, Southern Raceway in Milton, FL and at Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, TN.
