Always interesting to see the big boys at new tracks and this should be a fun one. Ashland is one of those tracks that isn't well known but most people that visit have positive things to say about. Not the widest track but rarely one groove since they have such a nice racing surface. Nicer than expected facility. Barring any weather issues, I’d expect a quality show tonight and favor Jimmy Mars but won't be surprised to see multiple local/WISSOTA guys like John Kaanta, Nick Anvelink, and Pat Doar, in the top 10.

Hotlaps at 6 and heats at 7 central. From another board, it sounds like there's a slight chance of weather later in the evening so they're gonna push the show along and will run the Outlaw feature first if need be.

It doesn’t look great but that town is right on Lake Superior and sometimes what you’ll see is the weather dissipates or pushes away as it nears. Hopefully that’s the case here.
