    Default older mastersbilt chassis material

I have an 04 smackdown and need to replace some tubing. Were the chassis built using mild steel or did they use anything else then? Thanks

Pretty sure most of them were dom back then. Even on "chromoly" cars alot of the smaller diameter tubing is dom

Agreed but some don't even use DOM on the small ones, just cheap HREW seamed tube there or on diagonal braces

No argument their billet. Ne all tubing has a seam the designations can be a little misleading. The seam is different and can usually be used to identify the tubing type to a certain degree
