Default Driver who does more with less

I'm going to go with Zack Dohm seems to always be in top 5 in some of these big races.

He's always on the bottom and drives people clean.

He's the best interviewer in my opinion as well. Always very humbled when he speaks.

Would like to see him get a good ride some day and see what he can do.

I would agree dohm definitely runs well in these bigger events with less. Not so sure i agree with the interview part I've seen him go very (Chris madden like) when things didn't go well but that being said it's not every week he's got a Mic in his face like some so it's understandable for him to speak from pure emotion before he goes home and watches the video. Case and point the Owens incident at the world finals. Overall i like the guy though

Your right I can't speak for the times when he felt he was wronged by another driver and a journalist sticks a mic in his face and asked him what happened, lol but, for the most part he seems pretty humbled.

I wouldn’t say they are hurting for money though. But yes, I’d say Zach, Tyler Carpenter, and I dunno who else off the top of my head.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

I would agree there not hurting for money, his dad just chooses to not blow all his money on racing. He’s still got good stuff, just not a lot of it

I always here about rusty, but he makes some questionable moves constantly and continues to run away from money shows..

Do you really think Bloomer, Owens, Richards, Davenport, Tmac, or Madden would hit those races up Rusty passes by with lesser equiptment ?

The thing people have to remember about schlenk is he races for a living and is low budget so it makes sense to race the show's he races at. I think rusty does very well with what he has. But historically tends to fall a little short against the higher competition. Although that's not exactly what the op said i took this as more of a national level type question.

The way I see it is the Carpenter's do a better job of managing their available resources better than most teams and they also out work most any team around. Racing smart and working their a$$es off have paid dividends. They have earned much respect from this old time race fan.
