Default Rear steer with 3 link suspension.

Building a car for a class that only allows three link rear suspension but allows a j-bar or straight panhard bar. Coil over springs and shocks. Can you get a 3 link chassis to raise in the rear and have a bunch of rear steer like a 4 link? How can it be done? Do you raise the left side lower bar front mounts? What type of top link is best? Spring or rubber? Short or long?

Sure you can. I have run it on a super LM as recently as last year. If you have enough bar angle and soft enough spring rate, the car comes up.

You can get a ton of dynamic roll steer with a three link. Sport mods have been doing it for years. It's all in the dynamic angle and droop.

A 16 to 18 inch rod at 16 to 18° will put you almost exactly where your standard late model is as far as thrust and rear steer. Assuming you’ll have the spring on a clamp, run as soft as you can and there shouldn’t be a big difference
