    Default Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series $1,000 to win at 411 on August 24

    Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Late Model Series at Tri-County August 23 and 411 August 24
    -Brucebilt Iron-Man Modified Series Also in Action at 411 on August 24-

    SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (August 18, 2019) – The Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Championship Late Model Series presented by DirtonDirt.com will have a doubleheader of racing action as the tour will visit Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, NC on Friday August 23 for the first-time ever for the track’s 8th Annual Back to School Nickel Night and conclude the weekend on Saturday August 24 at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN for the Schaeffer’s Oil Driver Appreciation Night. Both Super Late Model events will pay $3,000 to win and $300 to start. In addition, the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series will be in competition at 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday August 24, racing for $1,000 to win and $100 to start.

    The weekend will begin on Friday August 23 as the tour will make its first-ever visit to Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, NC for a 30 lap, $3,000 to win/$300 to start event on the 8th Annual Back to School Nickel Night at the track, as there will be ten thousand nickels spread out on the frontchute for the young race fans in attendance (three age groups), along with a limited number of backpacks and school supplies for the young race fans as they head back to school. Also in competition with the Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Championship Late Model Series presented by DirtonDirt.com at Tri-County Race Track on Friday August 23 will be the track’s Crate/Limited Late Model, Modified Street, Street Stock, Beginners, Pony, and Front Wheel Drive divisions. There will also be a $200 bonus put up by the track for the highest finishing Limited or 525 powered Late Model entry that chooses to compete with the Super Late Models. Activities for the 8th Annual Back to School Nickel Night on Friday August 23 at Tri-County Race Track will see the pit area open at 4:00 p.m., while the general admission area will open at 5:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will take place at 6:45 p.m., with practice beginning at 7:00 p.m. Ticket prices for the Friday August 23 event at Tri-County Race Track in the general admission area will be $18 for adults, with young fans ages 11 to 16 being $10, with ages 10 and under free, while a pit pass will be $35 for adults, with ages 11 to 16 $20, and ages 10 and under free. .

    The weekend will conclude on Saturday August 24 at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN for Schaeffer’s Oil Driver Appreciation Night, with the Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Championship Late Model Series presented by DirtonDirt.com racing 30 laps for $3,000 to win/$300 to start and the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series in action in a 20 lap, $1,000 to win/$100 to start event. As part of Schaeffer’s Oil Driver Appreciation Night, the drivers in the Super Late Model and Open Wheel Modified divisions will pay NO entry fee for this event. Joining the Super Late Models and Open Wheel Modifieds in action at 411 Motor Speedway on Schaeffer’s Oil Driver Appreciation Night will be the track’s Crate Late Models, Street Stocks, and Front Wheel Drives. Activities for the Schaeffer’s Oil Driver Appreciation Night at 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday August 24 will see the pit area and general admission area open at 3:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 6:30 p.m., with practice starting at 7:00 p.m. Ticket prices for the Saturday August 24 event at 411 Motor Speedway in the general admission area will be $15 for adults, with children ages 12 and under free, while a pit pass/tier parking will be $30 for adults, with children ages 12 and under free.

    The Super Late Model portion of the program will be sanctioned by the Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Championship Late Model Series presented by DirtonDirt.com. The entry fee for the event at Tri-County Race Track will be $100, plus transponder rental for timing/scoring purposes, while there is NO entry fee for the event at 411 Motor Speedway for both the Super Late Model and Open Wheel Modified divisions. The Super Late Model tire rule will be as follows: Tri-County Race Track-Hoosier 1300, 1350, and 1600 and American Racer 44, 48, and 56; 411 Motor Speedway- Hoosier 1350 and 1600 and American Racer 48 and 56. Random tire samples will be taken by the series. Drivers not making the feature event will receive $50 tow money.

    The tire rule for the Open Wheel Modifieds are as follows: Hoosier M30 or M60 and American Racer Hard and Extra Hard. The Hoosier M60 and American Racer Extra Hard may be used as a right-rear option. The series runs under UMP technical rules. There will be NO entry fee for this event. Random tire samples will be taken by the series. Drivers not making the feature event will receive $25 tow money.

    The most recent event for the Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Championship Late Model Series presented by DirtonDirt.com would see Kyle Strickler of Mooresville, NC win at Tazewell Speedway in the Firecracker on Thursday July 4. Robby Moses of Maryville, TN is the current series points leader, followed by Joseph Faulkner of Fayetteville, TN, Joey Standridge of Tellico Plains, TN, Casey Turman of Lafayette, GA, and Donald McIntosh of Dawsonville, GA.

    The most recent event for the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series saw Ricky Tinch of Deer Lodge, TN win at Wartburg Speedway on Saturday August 10. Clayton Miller of Elkton, KY is the current series points leader, followed by Jesse Rupe of Sophia, WV, Amos Bunch of Wartburg, TN, Wayne James of Newport, TN, and Rick Standridge of Vanore, TN.
