    Default Sharon Speedway

How about that race? Track is so much better now. Well run, clean, not bad food.

Their local announcer Jim Pollack has been a family friend for I’d say 40 years. Was on my Dads pit crew at one time. And then the lady working victory lane is my cousin. So it’s pretty neat.

And Joel Watson was in our pits last week talking to my brother, this week trying to make a go with a late model. He’s a good driver, just I’m sure doesn’t have the cash for a super late.

Ricky has got to be so pi$$ed. So close again, it’s like the upteenth time. Without BShepp dang would he be golden. Sheppy ties it with 18.

I’m just really happy for Blaney’s, Wellers, and Kirila families, as well as Dave Willoughby. They have really put in the work to make it better. Their facilities were up to snuff after the track redesign, but, the dirt was junk.

Once Dave Blaney seen what was the issue, they got with the Port Royal people and have the same clay as them.

I really think that was probably their last swing, because they put a lot into it, and it just wasn’t paying off. Now, really good. I went last week, and best it’s been since they shrank it.

Good car counts every week, and good racing. Hopefully this leads to more specials. They had a good schedule this year.

Joel has came down to atomic a few times in his mod, and he has done very well when he was there. I seen he posted awhile back about getting a late model. Hopefully he does well. I like to see mod crossovers do well.

I'd say Ricky is ready to run though that blue #1. It was d@mn good race though.

I think he was more ready to give Junghans a shot.

Yeah, Joel has won at Atomic. Was there the one time he was. Think he got top 3. In a mod, he is very good. As good as anyone. The late, I dunno, without good backing, I don’t think it’ll last. When he was talking to my brother, he had motor issues. Evidently he got it squared away. Or at least put a motor in it.

He helped Randle Chupp when he drove got the McGlaughlins outta Conneaut.

I haven’t seen him be shady with anyone. If he has, he has.
