    Default Driver of the year

Who is your pick for the driver of the year? What about most improved driver? I’m gonna go with Brandon Sheppard and Cade Dillard. Cade has been running very well with the woo since July

If it’s not Brandon then something is wrong. Most improved I’d give a nod to Junghans.

JD is the top series' champ and won the only race that matters. Had he not bumped wheels with Strickler in June, a lot more of you would be saying him.

JD has a 495 point lead on Tmac, Tyler Erb, Josh Richards, Jimmy Owens, Devin Moran, EPJ, and Hudson O'Neal
BShep has a 288 point lead over Shane Clanton

    Plus JD won the World

Seems pretty cut and dry to me

I think it's obvious that Mother Nature is the real driver of the year. She's won more races than anyone else this year.

waac77, the points for WoO differs greatly from the way Lucas does it. A 288 point lead in WoO is much greater than JD's 495. But, I would almost put Sheppard and Davenport as a 1a and 1b for driver of the year.

Probably Davenport. It would come down to dnfs when both are going to be in the top 3 most every race. I'd also point out a guy like Lance Landers can send his team to whatever tour he wanted. Despite already winning the Lucas crown, he didn't have a desire to win woo.

Still have DTWC and World Finals to go. This post is a little early in my opinion. Looking forward to Sheppard vs. Davenport at PRP as they both run well there. Sheppard clearly has the advantage in driver of the year though IMO.

Sorry can’t make everybody happy, I’ll change it to best driver at this point in the year
