i commend masters for doing this , you will not get any of the top builders to do this , they will tell you to bring it to them and will charge you half as much as a new chassis , nice to see a reputable company trying to help the little man , which i understand there main concern is selling new chassis , but that market is shrinking.......

Im not sure i can totally agree with you their. I have been involved with several repairs of reputable chassis and although they dont necessarily advise it most will sell you whatever you want within reason( front and rear clip peices). But that being said the going rate for a whole front clip is around 1500$ give or take. If you consider your time and labor. Plus the fact that it will be done on the jig. It's really not to hateful compared to what kooser paid for his care package.
you maybe right and most will , i could have just had a bad experience , im not gone name the chassis , but when they first came out with the new front end , i tried to order one for an older chassis and they gave me the pitch that i could never get it right and they had to do it on there jig and it was way north of 1500 bucks , i told them could not afford what they wanted and the means of doing it myself , they said ok but only if i originally bought it from them , which i didnt , so that ended that......BTW , i later ran across one with the tail clip tore off , bought what was left including front susp for a grand and fixed mine.....
I'll be using my home made frame table for the repair. I'll shim it to level as needed and clamp/weld it to the table. Then I'll add temporary reinforcements to keep everything from moving before I cut out the old and install the new.
Tader asked for the chassis # when I ordered the parts... that front x member is spot on with the fit. Looks like I'll be able to trim the new 4 bar brackets to utilize the existing square tube mounts.
I hope to get this deal started soon...
