ADAIRSVILLE, GA – The 29th and final week of the 2019 Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division season has arrived. The National Championship will be decided by one driver, Jason Baker of Addison, AL. The title scenario is simple. If Baker wins, he wins the Championship. If Baker doesn’t win, Mike Lane of Wing, AL is the Champion.

There are two races on the Week 29 Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division schedule of events. Southern Raceway in Milton, FL and Thunder Valley Speedway in Glenmora, LA will host Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division Week 29 races this Saturday night.

Lane leads the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with a best 14-week total of 698 points. Lane will not be in action for Week 29 competition, as he is serving a suspension. Baker is second in the National standings with a best 14-week total of 697 points, and he will be trying to net on a 49. A 50-point win this Saturday night by Baker will tie him with Lane at 698 points.

The tie-breaker would then come into play if Lane and Baker finish the season in a tie in points. The tie-breaker is the number of 50-point wins. If Baker wins on Saturday and ties Lane in points, the Saturday night win would be Baker’s 13th and Lane has 12 50-point wins. A 50-point win this Saturday night gives Baker the 2019 Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division National Championship.
