Surprised no one went with Jones-Roaring Knob or Miley-PPMS. Oh right, best promoter. King-Port Royal and McCown-Atomic tops in my eyes.

Dan Robinson, Lucas Oil Speedway, Missouri,,,,,another vote for the Kosiskis, I80, Nebraska and the Queenslands, Deer Creek, Minnesota. And if you want to see a show run promptly take in one of Mike Van Gendrens tracks in Iowa. Toby Kruse, Marshalltown, IA may provide some of the very best racing that not a lot of people outside of Iowa ever heard of.
    I hate time trials.

We can start a separate thread for 10 worst. Sadly there are more bad ones than good ones. Especially in the Ohio Valley region.

I always thought Roger Slack did a nice job as a promoter. Although technically he's a general manager now at Eldora he still does a great job of running the racetrack professionally. When you call the track somebody answers. Buying tickets and camping is easy. Everything is run professionally. He did a great job of promoting the Dirt Track at Charlotte too even though they were struggling with their track at times throughout his tenure.

    Default No particular order

Port Royal, Willoughby and the owners at Sharon(major improvements), McCown at Atomic, Slack and Fat Tony at Eldora, Matt Curl-FALS, King’s at Florence, Smoky Mountain guy, I80-Kosiski’s, Long at Fayetteville has tried so hard, just think the track is a turd.

    Fallen from grace, Lernerville.

Kelley is one of my favorite people in the sport. If you can’t get along with him, you probably can’t get along with most people. In our neck of the woods, if Kel has a hand in the operation of the event, we try to get there because we know it will be a professionally run show. He’s just good people — at the track as well as away from it.

What’s the guy’s name that took over at Smoky Mountain? It’s slipping my mind right now. We were super impressed with him when we heard his speech at the big race back in the spring. He sounded like a man on a mission and it was already obvious he was following through with his promises.

    Terry,

I concur on the guy at Smoky Mountain. I too couldn’t think of his name. He sold his RV dealership and took over Smoky Mountain as the sole owner.
