after watching the video on DoD, why did that guy get his spot back after crashing himself in front of the whole field on the first lap?

Worse than that one is why did he get his spot back after wrecking the lapped car and stopping? No wonder people quit attending races. Just as bad as NASCAR.

Because he is local is the only thing I came up with. I asked the same question after reading the write up on DoD. Twice you caused a caution. Lol
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

We have been racing with SAS all year ans they did nothing that they have not done all year. This is rule regarding the start of the race in rule book and that crash happened going into turn one on lap one.

Once green flag is displayed the race is officially underway. NOTE: If only one (1) car is involved in a caution on the original start or before one (1) complete lap is scored, that car will go to the rear of the field for a subsequent attempt at starting the race. If more than one (1) car is involved in a caution on the original start or before one (1) complete lap is scored, the cars involved in the caution will receive their original starting positions for a subsequent attempt at starting the race.

One (1) complete scored lap MUST be recorded before field goes to a restart line-up. NOTE: If any driver is penalized to the rear of the field before one (1) complete lap is scored the remainder of the field should move up one row. NO „cross-over‟ of field for subsequent attempts at starting the race

As far as Hiett in the second deal, they always protct the leader from lapped cars as Hiett and Turner got together, nothing out of ordinary here in my book, but I know some of you will not like it.
