That’s the biggest news in racing in my entire life. I don’t know what it means but it’s really, really big. Wow.
Guerilla Racing Junkies.
Shovel on a little more coal, then when we cross white oak mountain, watch 97 roll!
The problem is the gall dang motors.

Nothing should change with the dirt track as it’s a midget track and they probably won’t do anything with it other then the 2 nights a year

Would think it's just a move to ensure indy cars and indy. The Speedway is operated by a board of trustees

Thought Tony Stewart was going to buy it!

Gotcha! Makes perfect sense. He’ll buy Mansfield later.
-
with a net worth of about 80 million I don't think LaSalle would put much of a dent in the bank account

Will that still be the case after the new owner takes ownership of it?
I thought the trustee set up was more to protect the speedway from anything stupid that the family might do with it?
I really have no idea, it's a question.
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

No sh!t. Used to love the Busch and truck races there.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Yep used to go with buddies back in day. Arca/usac thurs, trucks Friday, Busch Saturday. Used to go walk around big track on Friday, actually passed on free tickets at brickyard. Used to get some big names running at irp too.

I understood board as just like any other big business. Their job is to ensure Speedway growth and make decisions

Gotcha......i see Mr Penske channging or modifying that system somehow.
If Indy was a publicly traded company that reported growth to it's shareholders then I could see it as necessary ....but with the boss owning it wholly I doubt that trustee deal will survive under the new owner.
I'm thrilled Tony George is out( or at least I hope he is )
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????
