MILTON, FL – Night one of two for the 12th Annual Southern 100 for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series has been cancelled due to electrical issues at Southern Raceway. The both races of the 12th Annual Southern 100 will be run on Saturday with both the $3,000-to-win 30-lap race, and the $7,000-to-win 70-lap race will be contested.

The gates will open at 12 Noon with Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Pre-Race Registration and Technical Inspection from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for the $3,000-to-win, 30-lap race. The Drivers Meeting will be at 2:30 p.m. with Hot Laps to follow.

The Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series will run two complete shows that include Qualifying, B-Main Races, and a Main event for each race. In between the two shows, Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series competitors will re-register and redraw for their spot in the Qualifying Live for the second show.

The tire rule for this two-race event has been amended for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series in that the Hoosier D70 rule will be in effect for the second race (the 70-lap race) only.

Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series competitors will have plenty of time to work on their race cars between events, as the local divisions will be ran in between Rounds 17 and 18 of the 2019 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series season on Saturday at Southern Raceway.
