dome hotels
Thought it would be interesting to see what people paid for their hotels. I'm staying at the hilton by the ball park friday and saturday night and paid $130 per night including all fees and taxes. Booked late september, think I did well.

I am staying about 15 minutes away in Collinsville at a Comfort Inn. Think it was around $85 per night after taxes. I still have to pay to park though outside the dome so sounds like you did okay.

What does parking cost in the area around the dome. Thinking of coming down just one night either Friday or Saturday. Thanks in advance.

Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

The casino is higher to stay at but that's where we've stayed the last couple years. I think we pay $200 something a night, but usually split it between 2 or 3 of us. I've got a room for Friday/Saturday this year at the casino, but I'm thinking about using Hilton Honors points for a room on Thursday and coming out a day early.

Motel 6>East St. Louis. Said I couldn't beat their price anywhere. Even told me they'd leave the lights on for me.

Not sure on cost but I've used Hilton Honors points every year and stayed at the Hampton Inn. We like staying there Because it's close to dome entrance as well as the entrance to the tunnel for the casino.

I'm staying at queens casino $89 a night.

A light jacket or sweatshirt seems to be fine for inside the dome.
For getting around, if you have to walk more than a few blocks then taxis are easy to find downtown.
I don't recommend walking alone at night.
