I was told DB would not race in 2020, may return in 2021 if things work out.

Well here’s some truth for y’all. Until Kemp himself makes a statement not one of you actually knows what will or won’t happen for 2020 and beyond. Also, the DBM PR guy leaving for another job means absolutely nothing to what Kemp will be doing with HIS team now and into the future.

Racing in 2020? Nothing official yet
    Winning? No press release needed...doubtful

I posted in late October that DB would not race in 2020. I stand by that statement.

I spoke to Kemp at Charlotte and he said he was taking 2020 off and then see how it goes for a possible return in 2021. I also know that they were going to run this year until the driver they wanted had another deal come together before they could get everything lined out. Maybe in 2021 everyone will understand better.

Well, I think they lost out on more than just a driver with that deal.

Kemp or no Kemp, Dunn-Benson's dirt program was Carlton thru and thru. When he died, a large part of the effort died.

Wow didn’t know you where his new PR man Kelley. Again why don’t we all simple let KEMP managing HIS OWN racing plans and make HIS OWN public statement when HE is ready too.

You are right on one aspect Carlton’s dirt program died with him. We will always love him and respect what he accomplished in our sport. But ... Life. Goes. On. Things change and Kemp’s program will look different as it should. Maybe, just maybe, we all should stop beating a dead horse and put our encouragement and support behind the here and now and the future of Kemp’s dirt program.

Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.
