Thumbs up Was Boone (IA) Speedway on the schedule when released? It's there now. "Hawkeye 100".

Was Boone Speedway in Iowa on the World Of Outlaws Late Model Series 2020 schedule when it was released a few days ago?

    It's there now with a 2 day show on Friday, May 1st & Saturday, May 2nd 2020 "Hawkeye 100" paying $30,000 to win & $1,000 to start.

That's what I though. I didn't see it a few days ago. That ought to be a show. Boone might be one of the best prepped tracks in the country. That would be a good race. Maybe IMCA Modifieds an the under card support class..

I can't wait for this race. Boone is that black jumbo dirt, the same as knoxville. They do a great job prepping the track. I love when big shows like this pop up close to home.

Hats off to IMCA/Boone, WoO, and the promoters for bringing this race together. This is the marquee IMCA track and I’m sure they could have said no to this event. Hope it translates to a big success. Easily in the top 5 of the most prestigious tracks in the country.

Probly will be one of the best WoO shows all year. Boone is a diamond in the ruff with it track prep program.

The bummer part is it's the same weekend as twin $12k Lucas shows at Ponderosa and Florence.

There are plenty of drivers for both events. It will give more guys the opportunity to make some decent money.

That is unbelievable to prepare a track in about 15 minutes. Is this how they do it all the time?

Believe it’s only for the week long IMCA Super Nationals in September each year. The couple times I’ve been they said they rented the additional equipment for that event. They’d re prep the track after 10 heat races. It’s been several years since I attended so someone may have more up-to-date info.

Didn't know they rented the extra equipment but they still do it every 10 races at the Supernationals. They even have a jet dryer which they unfortunately needed to use a few times this year.
