I think he'll finish somewhere between fourth and seventh on the year.

As well as he runs when they're in his neck of the woods, I would say he'll be a pretty solid competitior running the full schedule. Brian is a pretty fierce wheelman.

Guessing this is only a way to try to generate sponsorship dollars. If the first quarter of the schedule does not go well or. If no big dollar sponsorship shows up he will fall off the tour. Likely go back to Regional / Summer Nationals races. I will add that I do not blame him or anyone else who does this by the way. Why not put your name out there on a national series and see if someone who was on the fence would like to partner with you.

Some of them kind of separated towards the end, but last year had a pretty decent battle from 2-8 between McCreadie, Richards, Erb, Owens, Moran, Hudson, and Pearson. I think 4-7 is a pretty good range for Shirley but it won't be easy. Still don't know what Moran will do next year but Clanton will be in the mix for a good points finish too. Shirley was bad fast at Speedweeks last year from what I remember, so he could get off to a good start.

No just wondering what he does. Curious if he has a business or if he’s a doctor or something

I doubt he runs the full tour. If he did, I'd go 6 to 8 place.

You can stop at Cheers of Chilton anytime you want. Ask for Bob, he's the owner.

The 3s will be fine as long as they don't run into bad luck like last year. Brian has always been a hands on guy as long as I've seen him race. It will be interesting to see how he meshes with his new crew chief. Hope they gel together like Erb and Edwards.

Squirrel will be fine. Amazes me how people btch about there not being enough cars for B mains and as soon as someone announces they're running a series, its nothing but negativity. The jealousy is sad to ne honest

Its not that people don't want more cars, we just all know there are drivers who "declare" to run 1 of the 2 National series only to run into bad luck in Florida and drop off. Usually you can spot the wanna be national runners and I don't think Shirley's team is 1 of those.

I think you all are underestimating him big time. He could be a top 5 or even a contender for the title.
